The Avedis Foundation is pleased to announce the Avedis Nonprofit Leadership Institute as a vehicle for quality improvement within the nonprofit sector
of Pottawatomie County and surrounding communities.
The goal of the Avedis Nonprofit Leadership Institute is to assist in improving, strengthening and positioning local nonprofits for excellence in order to ensure
a bright future for Pottawatomie County and surrounding communities. Nonprofits selected for the Leadership Institute will receive hands-on assistance from qualified facilitators and services directed toward quality improvement in areas such as board and staff development, administrative support, fundraising, community outreach, evaluation and planning.
Avedis Nonprofit Leadership Institute participants will also receive assistance in developing the image and communicating the mission of their work. This technical and creative support will assist nonprofits in “telling their story.”
It is our hope that the Avedis Nonprofit Leadership Institute will serve to elevate and invigorate the nonprofit sector to be a driver for positive social change, economic development and a better quality of life in Pottawatomie County and surrounding communities.
Participants for 2014-2015 are:
~ Sharon Trammel, Youth and Family Services
~ Mystie Smith, Project Safe
~ Fred Combs, Community Action Agency of Central Oklahoma
~ Audrey Seeliger, United Way of Pottawatomie County
